W ramach niniejszej publikacji zostały zaprezentowane wyniki badań i analiz statystycznych z zakresu branży odlewniczej, prowadzonych rokrocznie przez Instytut Odlewnictwa w Krakowie. Sytuacja odlewnictwa w Polsce i na świecie została oceniona pod kątem zmian wielkości produkcji w podziale na poszczególne rodzaje tworzyw odlewniczych, a także udziału poszczególnych czołowych krajów w globalnej produkcji odlewów. Przedstawione zostały tendencje w produkcji odlewów na świecie na przestrzeni ostatnich lat.

Research results and statistical analyses related to the foundry engineering, carried out every year by the Foundry Research Institute in Krakow, are presented in the hereby paper. The situation of the foundry engineering in Poland and in the world was assessed with regard to production output changes in a division into individual kinds of foundry materials, and also with regard to the participation of the leading countries in the global casting production. Tendencies in the world casting production, within the space of the last years, are presented.
