Abstrakty
This work presents a control system of a social robot. The control system is based on a finite state automaton. It permits for the realization of predefined scenarios, and is able to support research in the field human-robot interactions. The system design makes the robot operational in relatively short time. Indispensable components of the control system are modules controlling the face actuation of the robot, emotion control modules, as well as the vision system responsible for people detection, and affecting the robot emotions. Performance of the system has been illustrated with a simple real object experiment.
