In this paper the analysis of surveys errors using a singlebeam echosounder has been shown. There have been presented international requirements in this field and aspects supporting necessity of increasing the accurecy of these surveys. Models of surveying (location of devices) and disturbances of the vessel`s movement, which influence on the survey`s accuracy, have been shown.
