CERGOP-2 is the second phase of a long range European project focusing on the GPS monitoring measurements of ongoing tectonic deformation processes in Central Europe. In the year 2000 processing and analysis of the CEGRN`99 GPS observing campaign was carried out. Most of the CERGOP study groups were active and presenting interesting results. Significant intraplate velocities have been mapped and geophysical interpretations were given for selected areas. Discussions have been continuede on the future trend, which way CERGOP should evolve.
