Abstrakty

In the paper some important facts from history of gas-cooled reactors are presented. The new experimental gas cooled reactors (HTTR, HTR-10) as well as new advanced projects of modular high temperature gas reactors are discussed. Very attractive safety characteristics of HTGR based on German and USA experiences is briefly shown. The mentioned circumstances make us possible to expect farther development of gas reactor in near future.
