The recent crustal deformations in the Pannonian basin has been monitored since 1991 using the GPS technique. Since the establishment of the Hungarian GPS Geodynamic Reference Network (HGRN) four campaigns have been carried out in every second year since '91. After an extensive data analysis we started to evaluate our results. We tried to detect crustal motions and determine the velocities of the HGRN GPS sites. We also attempted to calculate strain field in order to determine whether any of the main characteristics of the recent deformation is significant and already detected.
