A problem of motion of an airship connected to Earth with a cable/winch system is considered. It is assumed that one end of the cable is attached to the airship and the other one is winded by a winch. The quasi-steady and unsteady mathematical models of a 3D motion of the system "airship-cable" which take into account the aerodynamic characteristics of the airship and the cable, added masses of the airship and mechanical characteristics of the cable are formulated. The position of equilibrium and characteristics of airship motion constrained by a cable of constant length and also during the work of the winch are studied. The results of numerical calculations are presented.
