Abstrakty

This work deals with mini as well as micro turbine engine issues. In the report a survey of such a class of power plants was carried out. The overview comprises evaluation of general data modern engines their performance and some elements of the comparative engine assessment Present concept, power plant composition were discussed on the base of analysis of selected contemporary propulsion systems. Their subsystems such as: fuel, lubrication, auxiliary and control system also was presented in detail. The data for comparison were taken from the available and creditable resources and authors justified some of them. Some inaccessible features were estimated on the base of engineering knowledge or experience of the researchers. Basing on the analysis of the engine parameters as well as achievements in the UAV technology, current and future development trends in this class of engine technology were described.
