Przedstawiono przykłady ilustrujące to niekorzystne zjawisko.

Using the Wigner transformation for the noise analysis cause new spurious frequencies, which are absent in the observed signal. Examples illustrating this disadvantage are presented. This disadvantage proves to be an ambiguity source in the interpretation of results and is typical for whole commonly used transformations. The spurious frequencies appearing escalate for the nonstationary signals. The abilities of their identification and reducing are discussed.
