Two rotors were investigated in the anechoic room at the Institute of Turbomachinery (TU Lodz). It was found that two rotors interacted which influenced, besides of the airflow, the emitted acoustic noise. The results proved that the noise reduction was achieved. The lowest level of noise was observed for the case where the fan and the rotor were both turning counter-clockwise and they were placed coaxially.
