A designing process of the nonconventional diagonal blower for operation in furnaces for annealing coils of aluminum sheets is described. The methodology of calculalions (1D and 3D - CFD method), the machine structure and the results of experimental investigations conducted on the test stand and the real object located in the plant in Assan Aluminium, Turkey. have been discussed.
