EN
Simulation of nonstationary processes sometimes requires very long, real excitation signal. Unfortunately Simulink file I/O blocks read or write whole files at the time. The paper gives an advice on how to handle (read and write) long signals within Simulink in a frame based manner. Presented functions were developed as Level-2 M-File S-Functions. They can read or write raw binary data files, containing multiple signals. Such files are generated by multichannel Data Acquisition (DAQ) systems.
