In the article the results of the field empirical researches were presented. These researches related to the scope of using Internet in processes realized by the Polish small and middle produced enterprises. The influence of starling activity in Internet on employment structure was shown. The attitude to preparing employees for using Internet in different processes was presented too. The special attention was paid to using Internet in internal and external communication for example with final clients and journalists. The authoress underlined the fact that there was large gap between actual using Internet by researched objects and potential chances in this area. Internet was used by researched enterprises mainly to seeking new clients, promotion firms etc. Only seldom they used it to promotion offered products and conducting market researches. The half of mentioned objects didn't sell products by internet what could be explained by the fact that only 3/4 others firms realized their market goals in the sufficient degree thanks internet trade. All of this showed existing many problems in the scope of professional using virtual net by the Polish small and middle enterprises which should be quickly eliminated to compete effectively on the contemporary difficult market.
