Artykuł analizuje stan obecny oraz oczekiwany popyt na włókiennicze wyroby balistyczne w zakresie ochron osobistych oraz dopancerzeń środków transportów oraz obiektów stałych. Oszacowano także i przeanalizowano dane dotyczące trendów w pracach badawczo-rozwojowych w zakresie projektowania nowoczesnych wyrobów balistycznych. Główny nacisk położono na analizę potencjału rynkowego, bariery oraz trendy w zakresie prac badawczych oraz rozwojowych związanych z włókienniczymi wyrobami balistycznymi w Polsce oraz, w oparciu o dostępne dane, w odniesieniu do zagranicy.

The paper analyses current state and expected demand for textile ballistic products such as individual protection, and add-on armouring for transportation meansand solid object. The data regarding the trends of research and development works were also estimated and analyzed, concerning designing the modern ballistic products. The main focus was put on the analysis of market potential, barriers and trends in the research and development of textile products in Poland, as well as abroad - on a basis of available information.
