The paper presents issues connected with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) implementation and examines advantages and disadvantages of EDI systems in business organisation. The decision concerning the implementation is a very serious matter in every organisation and therefore it should be carefully considered. This paper presents a set of parameters useful for making a reasonable decision about EDI implementation.
