The optimal utilization of solar radiation in photovoltaic (PV) systems requires the knowledge of many rules. The proper choice of DC/AC inverter is one of the most significant ones. The paper presents the approach to inverter selection ba.yed on practical experience and demonstrates the choice for the 1 kWp generator installed at the Technical University of wdi.
