Analysis of the Biomass Co-combustion Possibilities in Fluidized Boilers for Electricity Generation in the BOT Turów Power Plant
Języki publikacji
Abstrakty
An analysis of the influence of the biomass co-combustion on the performance of the boiler in the BOT Turów Power Plant has been presented. The numerical simulations have proved that co–combustion of biomass of the amount calculated according to the determined requirements should not affect significant changes in boiler efficiency. Due to investigation results, one can state that the mass fraction of biomass, e.g. in the fuel equal to 6%, could be assumed to be safe for the majority of biomass types.
