Simulation of Compressible Flow in a Cross-Flow Fan

In this paper, the comparison between numerical results of flow field in cross-flow fan and experimental investigations made by Harloff (1979) has been presented. Obtained compability has given confirmation, that computer program was used, adequately. This program has been nextly applied to simulation of compressible flow in CFF, which has been carried out first time in the world. The way of elimination undersirable shock waves has been proposed. The result of this simulation has been also presented in graphs.
