Abstrakty
The paper presents an experimental analysis of the interaction between wakes and boundary layer on an turbine blade profile. It was proved that wake parameters and especially the turbulence intensity in the wake and wake width have a great influence on the position and extent of the induced transition. The experimental investigations was supplemented by numerical analysis of this problem, and allows for reproduction of full time evolution of periodic wake induced transition.
