This paper presents a mathematical model of the IMDS spindle of a ring spinning frame, in which the axial displacement of the motor rotor is an output signal. On connecting the motor to the power supply source, the individual motor-driven spindle rotor is pulled into the asynchronous motor stator. Selected results of simulation investigations of the model are presented in the form of curves of the axial force and axial displacement.
