A concise synthesis of material properties and functional qualities of contemporary filtration nonwoven fabrics is presented. Stress is laid on the importance of defining the geometrical structure of nonwoven fabrics as the basis knowledge for defining functional qualities. The first test modelled by Poiseuille`s - Hagen`s flow was carried out and the diameters of ducts and Reynold`s numbers were determined for a choice of nonwoven fabrics. The programme and construction of an experimental stand for testing intensive filtration, for two testing variants - at a variable temperature and at a variable humidity of air and nonwoven fabric - is discussed.
