EN

One of the most important features of special-purpose sports wear is protection against injuries due to strokes and falls. This function should be performed by shock-absorbing protectors integrated with the protective clothing. The subject of the following article is research and comparison of energy absorbing properties of different elastomer materials, used in protectors, and of fibrous non-woven products of expanded three-dimensional structure. The research assumed the possibility of alternative use of elastomer materials and adequate fibrous materials for certain scope of energy in predicted impacts.

Jedną z najistotniejszych cech specjalistycznej odzieży sportowej jest ochrona przed urazami wskutek uderzeń, upadków. Funkcję tę powinny spełniać zintegrowane z tą odzieżą ochraniacze przeciwuderzeniowe. Przedmiotem niniejszej pracy było badanie i porównanie zdolności tłumienia energii przez różne tworzywa elastomerowe, stosowane zwykle w ochraniaczach, oraz włókniste wyroby nietkane o rozbudowanej strukturze przestrzennej. Zakłada się możliwość alternatywnego zastąpienia materiałów elastomerowych odpowiednimi wyrobami włóknistymi dla pewnego zakresu energii przewidywanych uderzeń.
