Abstrakty
The multi-beams simulator system is described in which signals from a plurality of hydrophones of array different configuration are simulated by selecting storage addresses of a random access memory whose successive addresses contain samples of an input signals. The system simulates sonar signals as received by an underwater sonar array for test and characterization and/or training. The system offers a wide range of capabilities including: moving targets scenario generation, simulation of propagation path, and ambient and reverberation noise generation. The system is operated from any computer running LabVIEV.
