Correlation equations which was worked out during research and through multiple regression analysis may be helpful to determine the impact of alloy elements interaction, processing parameters and strengthening meters on end mechanical properties of HSS welded joints. By testing the equations with an independent experiment we managed to prove their sufficient accuracy in off-shore and ship structures design and construction. On the grounds of correlation equations analysis, we presented the general characteristics of alloy elements impact on mechanical properties of category A420-F690 thick plates welded joints.
