The paper presents a method for analysis of the ship hulls subject to combination of vertical bending and shear force. The method is based on the Smith's concept of decomposition of ship hull into a number of elements: plates and stiffened panels. Stress-strain relationship based on elastic-plastic constitutive equations is evaluated for each element subject to tension/compression and shear separately. Results are combined to produce the ship hull response intenns of bending moment and shear force acting under specified curvatures of two cross-sections. Problem of various schemes of kinematic loading is discussed. The results obtained using the present method are validated against results of tests for Ostapenko beam. Presented are results of calculations for typical configuration of bulk-carrier.
W artykule przedstawiono metodę analizy kadłubów okrętowych poddanych łącznemu działaniu mementu gnących i sił tnących.
