The results of numerical and experimental investigations of hydraulic system elements (an impeller and a vaned diffuser) of the selected pump have been presented. The code [5, 8} that solves the three-dimensional viscous flow of a compressible and incompressible fluid and that has been developed at the Institute of Turbomachinery, Technical University of Lodz has been employed in the numerical calculations. The experimental investigations of the selected pump type have been carried out on the test stand that allows, among others, for measurement of the working medium volume flow rate; measurement of power and frequency of rotations and measurement of local pressures in selected control planes and points.
