Abstrakty

The paper presents the results of investigations of instability of liquid jets emanating from contoured nozzles into ambient air. The major attention ha sbeen paid to the measurements of the jet structure and the distance beyond which the jed lost its continuity and was broken onto liquid droplets. Investigations have been conducted at various pressures of water in the nozzle and its three diameters. The results have been compared against available data literature.
