Dla technologii renowacji wykładziną rok 2011 był szczególny, gdyż właśnie wówczas upłynęło 40 lat od zaistnienia tej metody. W licznych wystąpieniach i publikacjach podkreślano okrągłą rocznicę. Rodzinę wykładzin renowacyjnych prezentowano z dumą, jako wiodącą technologię w naprawach uszkodzonych sieci kanalizacyjnych. Jak dalece w roku jubileuszowym wymagania pokrywały się z rzeczywistością, pokazuje przedstawiony poniżej ósmy już raport IKT - Instytutu Infrastruktury Podziemnej. Przywołuje on około 2100 próbek wykładzin, które w 2011 r. zostały pobrane na budowach i przebadane w laboratoriach IKT.

The year 2011 was special for the liner-based renovation technology, because it was the 40th anniversary of the introduction of this method. The eighth report of IKT (Institute for Underground Infrastructure) shows to what extent requirements translated into reality in the jubilee year. It refers to approx. 2,100 samples of liners that were taken in building sites in 2011 and analysed in IKT's laboratories. The lists included results of those renovation companies that delivered minimum 25 samples of liners from 5 different building sites for IKT tests. These requirements were met by 24 companies, which means there were 6 more than in the previous year. In 78% of cases, the order for testing of liner samples was placed by investors or engineering companies supervising building sites, whereas 22% of orders were placed directly by contractors.
