A range of investments in the environment and road engineering in the new Member States is really impressive. Several billion Euro that has already been allocated and at least the same amount for the following years promise a bright future for the market. Plastic pipes off er endless possibilities for the installation technologies. Their unique properties such as good fl exibility, creeping and memory ability make that old pipelines can be restored to full working order and new pipelines can be built using costeff ective narrow-trench and trenchless technologies. High corrosion resistance and durability contribute to higher reliability of water and sewer systems.
