As a member of the EU Poland is obliged to improve water quality, modernize the sewage treatment plants, and construct new sewage networks. A questionnaire has been run in order to research the renovation market. We have interviewed a number of renovation contractors in order to fi nd out what are their major technologies, how do they refer to the recommended PN-EN13689 and PN-EN13566 group standards, what are their recent developments in employment and technical solutions. The major renovation projects were also included in the questionnaire. The collected data has been analyzed and summed up in the article.
