Abstrakty

EN

The article is a thorough study of CIPP liners in the respect of their technical examination, acceptance and sustainability. The author focuses on the issue of optimal renovation technology choice and describes each method along with their recommendation for different purposes, according to the pipeline condition. The technical conditions should be taken into account when considering CIPP application as in some cases the method is the only reasonable solution. The author also discusses the matter of contractor's flaws in applying CIPP as well as the materials low quality and the consequences that may occur. This subject is supported by the research performed in Germany by the IKT Institute (Institut fur Unterirdische Infrastruktur) referring to how different inaccuracies in the process may influence the liner performance. A view into the matter of standards and bidding in infrastructure project is also given.
