The vibration analysis of beam structures with reinforcing core is presented in this paper. The fundamental mathematical formulations describing the bending vibrations of general composite beam structure are developed. Based on these formulations, the modifying function fM(ΔrS, Δ EJ) taking into account all of the relevant changes of beam and core structural parameters is derived. The required modal properties of beam structure are obtained by application the reinforcing core. The different material properties of beam and core are considered. The effects of material properties and geometrical parameters of reinforcing core on natural frequencies of composite beam structures are presented.
