In the paper the dynamic analysis of driving mechanism of oscillatory air-compressor is under investigation. There are taken into account two cases: the simplified one for symmetric connecting rod of driving mechanism, and the asymmetric case. The stick model consisting of beam elements is considered and the results are compared with the solid model analysed in Adams/Ansys enviroment. The analysis shows that for symmetric case the stick model gives relaiable results when compered to the solid model, however for non-symmetric case the differences are more significant.
