Opisano proces budowy systemu nawigacji WWW do ułatwienia odnalezienia informacji w zbiorze dokumentów hipertekstowych. Przedstawiono skrótowo teorię "żerowania informacyjnego". Zaprezentowano także krótki przegląd literatury zawierającej wyniki badań na temat systemów nawigacji oraz zaprezentowano ogólny model rozbudowy systemów nawigacji z wykorzystaniem bazy (podstawowa struktura nawigacyjna) i nadbudowy (pomocnicze systemy nawigacyjne).

The expansion ot World Wide Web cause the process of creating huge amount of miscellaneous Websites. Today the number of WWW sites is estimated in billions. Creating new Websites comes with creating new technologies and tools that helps to construct bigger and more complicated services. Every website needs a navigation system that allows browsing content of website. Clear and simple navigation system is the fundament to build successful website. This article describes methods and recommendations how to create ergonomical navigation systems in complex websites.
