Abstrakty
The article contains a proposed method for the evaluation of the efficiency of reducing the vibroacoustic onerousness of machines by applying damping materials and structures. We discussed several example measures of vibration damping and we defined the measures of effectiveness of propagation that rely on mutual analysis of vibrating motion and excitation. We presented examples of the results of tests involving damping materials as well as our conclusions regarding the effectiveness of the applied structural solutions. On such a basis we documented the usability of the proposed measures for solving problems from the area of minimizing the vibration and noise generated by machines.
