The paper is concerned the steady-state response of a non-linear two-degree-of-freedom system containing torsional damper. Vibrations are caused by an external force. Torque of forced vibrations is a stationary stochastic process in the form of the white noise. The tested system contains a torsion damper, where structural friction and linear viscous damping occurs. A uniform pressure distribution between the cooperating surfaces of friction discs is taken into account. The influence of the external radius, unit pressures, linear viscous damping and friction coefficients, equivalent damping coefficient and equivalent frequency in the function of variance response of system were analysed. The equation of motion of the tested mechanical system where solved by means of technical equivalent linearization method.
