Having the contractor take the responsibility for the construction site, based on the risk principle, is an efficient way for the employer to avoid the liability for the loss incurred thereon, for reasons not attributed to anyone, yet this increases the cost of the project. The contractor taking such responsibility has to take necessary precautions against the incidents which might cause the damage on the site. It is, however, essential to determine the entity responsible for the damage incurred on the site, therefore, care should be taken to ensure effective actions in this domain.
