The author of the study presents in detail the status of Poland's preparations for the organisation of the European Football Championship, EURO 2012. The presentation is focused on sports objects, both newly built and modernised at the host cities of Wrocław, Warsaw, Poznan and Gdansk. The building concept of the new objects is biased by the idea of their effective commercialisation after the Championship. Designed as "multifunctional arenas", these objects are to generate incomes from various commercial enterprises, such as rental projects and organisation of mass events.
