W artykule przedstawiono podstawową problematykę relatywnie słabo spopularyzowanej technologii bezpiecznego podpisu elektronicznego w kontekście poszukiwania sposobu efektywnego i bezpiecznego uwierzytelniania ważnych dokumentów. W nawiązaniu do ustawy o podpisie elektronicznym skomentowano potencjalne przesłanki ograniczonego zaufania użytkowników do tej formy uwierzytelniania. Omówiono ideę użycia kodu danych biometrycznych do bezpiecznego zarządzania wrażliwymi danymi.

In the paper the crucial problems of the e-signature (which is not very popular yet) in the context of searching for an effective and reliable way for securing important documents, are presented. With reference to the act of digital signature the potential reasons of limited trust in this form of authentication are commented. The idea of using the biometric data code under the aspect of secure management of the sensitive data has been described.
