EN

This paper provides the characteristic of sandbanks, as well as discusses methods of its creation. It also shows an influence upon the seashore saving processes, including the south coast of Baltic Sea, where we can observe a large number of sandbanks. The article presents the actions and corrective measures undertaken in order to save shores.
