W artykule przedstawione zostały zagadnienia związane z budową tuneli kolejowych i drogowych w Szwajcarii. Omówione zostały sprawy planowania i finansowania długich tuneli kolejowych jak i drogowych "Bypass". Przedstawione zostały metody drążenia tuneli przez urabianie materiałem wybuchowym jak i specjalnymi maszynami urabiającymi TBM / TBE. W dalszej kolejności omówiono sprawy związane z pomiarami geodezyjnymi w czasie projektowania i budowy tuneli. Poruszono również zagadnienia bezpieczeństwa pracy, eksploatacji obiektu oraz ochrony środowiska.

The paper deals with the problems met in the construction of road and railways tunnels. Special emphasis is put on the planning and financing of the longest railway tunnel of the word the "Gotthard base tunnel" in Switzerland. Classical, as well as machine guided methods e.g. TBM, TBE are discussed briefly. Last but not least the surveying tasks and instruments in use for such applications are presented in more details. Additionally security and environmental problems are explained on examples.
