W artykule przedstawiono przegląd badań dotyczących zużycia frettingowego w połączeniu wciskowym. Stwierdzono niewielką ilość prac na ten temat. Dotyczą one głównie określenia wytrzymałości zmęczeniowej połączenia w warunkach frettingu.

Fretting wear, which is a complex process composed of a number of elementary processes such as micro-machining, adhesion, surface fatigue, oxidation, exfoliation etc, occurs when two elements are matched between which there are slides of amplitude not exceeding 150um. This wear is particularly common in clamped joints. The article presents a short review of fretting wear in this kind of joint. Despite the fact that many researchers mention clamped joints in their examples of fretting wear, the number of works in this field is rather limited, especially when related to traditional shaft-sleeve joint. Moreover, the majority of research referred to joint fatigue strength under fretting. However, there are no works available on how the factors strictly connected with a clamped joint (e.g. value of clamp, joint execution method) affect the initiation and intensity of fretting wear.
