Przedstawiono wyniki badań dotyczące trwałości żeliwnych powierzchni płaskich współpracujących w warunkach ruchu prostoliniowego, a wykonanych różnymi sposobami obróbki wykańczającej.
The article describes the studies of the effect of the conditions of treatment of rectilinear cast iron surfaces on the dynamics of their wear during the friction process in rectilinear motion. Experiments were conducted on heat untreated cast-iron specimens of a hardness of 195-210 HB. The conditions of wear tests were achieved using unit pressures, p = =1,0 MPa, with coupling the surfaces being treated by different methods, while lubricating them with either filered spindle oil (FIG. 1) or oil contaminated with abrasive materiał in the form of aloxite powder with a grain size of 1.0-5.0 µ m (FIG. 2). Physico-mechanical changes in the upper layer were also determined prior to, and after wear, respectively, using either clean oil (TAB. 1) or contaminated oil (TAB. 2). The employed methodology is described in the literaturę [L. 1-4], where technological details and the physical interpretations of the experiments carried out are also reported.
