Abstrakty
The paper contains considerations on the use of modeling with experimentally-identified parameters in solving diagnostic problems. We present an example of not very complicated modeling of a continuous structure and the way of increasing its credibility by using the results of experiments on an actual object. The change of the eigen frequency of vibration can be thus treated as an element reflecting the degree of object wear, which justifies the possibility of applying the presented technique to the process of diagnosing the degree of degradation.
