Analysis of a Bolted Joint with Elastic and Frictional Effects Occurring between its Elements

The article presents the problem of structural friction appearing in a screw joint with elastic and frictional effects between its elements. The screw-nut type of joint is taken into considerations as it is the most often used one. In the article, ectopias are qualified for the screw joint. For one cycle of the loading, hysteresis loop is marked, which is a measure of dissipation of energy. Analysis of the influence of geometrical parameters, pressures and external loading on the dissipation of energy is presented, too.
