Mesoscopic description of the high frequency thermal processes in the submicron structures

In this paper the mesoscopic heat transport equation is applied to the study of the heat transport phenomena in the submicron semiconducor wire. Following the path-integral method the new solutions of the mesoscopic equation are obtained. It was shown that in the wire the thermal wave can propagates. The velocity and phase of the thermal wave depends on the relaxation time of the material of the wire.
