The paper presents the analysis of the energy balance of non-classical strand transmission with cogbelt. Two analysis were conducted. The first one consisted in excited rotation of driving pulley during a free rotation of driven pulley. The second one consisted in excited rotation of driving pulley during driven pulley braking with a torque of 10 N⋅m. The presented conclusions can be useful for designers of uneven-running strand transmissions which are applied in the field of machine and device drives.
