This paper presents results of a study of dynamical properties of vehicle with suspension considered in two variants, as a classical passive suspension with linear damper and semi-active suspension with controlled magnetorheological (MR) damper. In addition, a model with MR damper has been modified to incorporate the effect of a wheel hop. Solutions, which are discussed have been compared with the reference model with assistance of the objective function.
