The paper make an analysis suitability of existence formulas describe of hardening curves to numerical calculations the parameters force of burnishing process. In majority cases of formulas not take into account all factors essential influence on dynamic yield stress. However proposed incremental method of determination change of stresses take into account of deformation history: strain, strain rate and temperature also new hybrid method to define the mechanical characteristics of materials metallic.
