Abstrakty

EN

The present paper is devoted to the analysis of the test performed by Y. Hiramatsu and Y. Oka, based on the theory of elasticity. The results of the present experimental studies of Polish (Biała Marianna marble) rock are discussed, the cases the tensile strength Sr were analyzed. It is found that such a method leads to quite realistic approximate values of the tensile strength.
